Metcalf Wedding

Yesterday our good friends Jamison and Taysia finally got married after over 4 years of dating. Sorry guys you knew I would have to tease you ha ha. It was such a fun day. It started with a wonderful ceremony in the morning at the Salt Lake Temple, and later that night they had a beautiful dinner at Red Butte Gardens. It was a night filled with toasts, good food, great entertainment and dancing. I think the funniest part of the night was when the groomsmen and Jamison performed their rendition of Y.M.C.A. It was hilarious!!! We couldn't be happier for the the happy couple. They truly are perfect for each other. They headed off today for their honeymoon in Maui and we will be joining them tomorrow... don't worry we are not actually going with them we just happen to be going to the same place at the same time! Jamison and Dave joked about going golfing while Taysia and I went shopping but I axed that idea (not that I wouldn't love spending the day with you Taysia). We may have to stop by their hotel and at least say hi though.


We only got a few pics at the temple because I had to get back to work. I was sad that we couldn't get more.

Dinner at Red Butte ...

Jamison learned you should never seat Dave at the front table, especially when he has a new camera to play with. Dave took a lot of pictures to make Jamison "feel awkward". How nice of him!

The dinner was black and white polka dot themed which I loved! I especially loved the cake. It completely describes their personality, fun and spunky...


Here is Dave and his fellow Sigma Chi's carrying on the tradition by singing "Sweetheart of Sigma Chi" to the bride. They were a little rusty and forgot some of the words but it was still cute.


Taysia's nieces made the most adorable bridesmaids. They were quite the little dancers too. I love these pics...
