The end of March is here which means its about time for us to decide where we are going to go for Med school (well I guess technically Dave is the one going but we kind of come as a package deal) . I am so unbelievably proud of Dave for how hard he worked and how successful he has been in the whole application process. He hates when I brag about him but I just can't help it. He got accepted to a lot of great schools and he could possibly get a few more acceptances in the next month, but we have pretty much made our decision...drum roll please... University of Utah! That's right we will be staying right here in good old SLC. We decided early on that if he got into the U it would be our first choice. We still, however, are waiting to finalize that decision until we hear back from some other schools that could possibly offer us some type of scholarship. The chances of that happening, however, are slim to none, and even if we got financial help we might just stay in Utah anyways. We are so excited that we get to stay close to our families and friends. Dave is also excited because he was very impressed with the University of Utah School of Medicine during his interview. Plus we were dreading selling our townhouse and moving across the country. We both despise moving! So all of you in SLC sorry you are stuck with us for at least the next 4 years :)

I wouldn't say that we are stuck with you! I'm glad you guys will be here so I can take you up on your volleyball offer. I would love to play some with you this summer, if you can fit it into your schedule that is!
Yes! That's so exciting you guys are staying and going to the U, good for Dave! Scott decided on Creighton and so he gets to do his 1st year at the U med school, so he will probably be in a lot of the same classes as Dave starting this fall! That's crazy. Well good for you guys, hopefully we'll run into you sooner or later.
