We fell in love with Holland, MI. We definitely want to vacation here in the summer, it's only a few hours away from Ann Arbor. The city has a lot to do and the local beach is fantastic! You really feel like you are at the ocean except for not salt water and no sharks (yes, I am terrified of sharks) That's my kind of beach!!!
Windmill Island was closed for the season but we walked in a little ways to get a sneak peek. The girls will love it here when it's all open I am sure.
We stopped by to visit my parents best friends who live in Grand Rapids on our way back to the airport. Here is their amazing backyard. They have a beautiful yard with a tennis court then below is a private lake with their own dock. Pretty sure this is Dave's dream setup. If we didn't have so much family in Utah we may be tempted to settle down here.
