It has been seriously hot here lately so we have been escaping up to the mountains as much as we can. There is nothing better than fresh mountain air. We figure we need to take advantage of having such great mountains so close before we move away.
Silver Lake
We headed up to Silver Lake one night after dinner last week and it was probably my favorite time ever there because we were there during the coolest thunderstorm. We never got rained on but there was some pretty awesome thunder. So fun!
Donut Falls
Last Saturday morning we hiked to Donut Falls. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. Hailey could've stayed up there all day throwing rocks in the river and Nora rode contently in the front pack the whole time. I got quite the workout out packing her (she is getting heavy), it was awesome!
