We had another great weekend at the cabin, probably my favorite up there ever actually. We headed up Friday afternoon a little earlier than the rest of the family and had a great evening on the beach with our girls. Saturday we knew a storm was coming in so when we saw that it was clear in the morning we headed out on the boat. The weather was perfect . Warm but with cloud cover so we didn't get too hot. After a fabulous morning on the boat we headed to La Beaus for lunch then put the girls down for naps and sat out on the porch watching the rain and working on our lessons for Sunday (Dave teaches Elders Quorom and I am teaching Relief Society now, wish me luck) I have always loved rain but watching a rainstorm on the Lake is by far my favorite. The storm cleared up long enough for me to go for a run (kid free-heavenly) and then we headed to a yummy dinner with the fam before heading home. It was a short trip but it really was an ideal weekend, just the right mix of relaxation and play.
hadn't been at the cabin for 10 minutes before she was already out in the water.
Nora was not too sure about the sand at first. She kept trying to lift her legs up but ended up liking it (and trying to eat it of course)
first time in the Lake
Just a little off balance :)
her life jacket was too big but she didn't seem to mind. She's such a ham, love it!
She loved playing in the rain (she is her Mother's daughter)
