Well our Mac arrived yesterday so I am officially back to blogging. Hooray! I know It was only a couple weeks since I last blogged but it felt long to me. Plus we have done some fun things lately... The first was a great weekend down in sunny St. George. My parents just bought a beautiful second home down there so we went down to check it out. It is seriously the coolest house! We are so excited for them and even more excited that we can use it whenever we want right Dad? hint hint! I spent the majority of the weekend (and many days since) helping my Mom pick out furniture etc. while Dave studied. It has been so fun to help decorate! We even went to the parade of homes down there to get ideas. Here are some pics from the trip and some of the house. Sorry there are so many but not everyone in our family has seen it so I promised to post pictures.
main entrance
I love the front door!
I would kill for this kitchen! It even has a huge secret pantry (not shown here)

dining room
main fireplace
we were discussing furniture options and to get a visual we used Hailey and Michael's porta-cribs. Dave is the rug (silly boy)
clubhouse pool
clubhouse pool
light in the main entry. Isn't it beautiful?
Dave is a fan of the fire features between the pool and hot tub
Beware of wind :)
"cover your eyes" - Mikey
my two crazy bed heads!
Here is the theater room (or what will be ) Dave thought it was funny to leave Hailey alone in the middle of the room. It was literally 30 seconds until she fussed so he went back with her. She hates being left alone especially in such a big empty room!

Hailey playing with her Valentines gift from her Daddy. It sings a song with his voice for part of it. He is so sweet!
fireplace in the Casida (aka the apartment attached to the house) This is where we slept and it is quite the
view to wake up to!
the glass doors slide all the way opening the house up to the pool area.
There is a waterfall that drops from the roof to the pool but it is turned off for the winter. Pretty sweet huh?
master bedroom
Master bath
guest bath. This is my favorite bathroom. It is so unique. The shower head is 12 feet high with a skylight above it so it's like you are showering outside!

BBQ and yes an outdoor shower (one of two) The boys are stoked about the showers but we made them all promise to wear swimsuits at least!
fire pit on the roof. There is also a BBQ and stove so you can cook out under the stars!

Hailey loves her Nanny!
Dave was nice enough to lend Hailey his shades while we were out seeing houses in the parade of homes. Pretty stylish!
Mikey and Hailey were great little shoppers. Here they are at Bed Bath and Beyond where we spent 3 hours and left with 8 carts full of stuff! Crazy!
It was a great weekend and we are looking forward to many more down there!

Holy moly, that house is AMAZING! Congrats to your parents on their second home. And it's not so bad that you guys get to use it every now and then either.
Wow, that house looks amazing!! I just noticed that on your blogroll our blog says it's 5 months old. If you're interested, we have a new blog. Its at www.thehosenfelds.com
Natalie! Hailey is growing so much and is such a beautiful baby girl! And your parent's home is gorgeous! I live in Cedar City now so I'm right next door to St. George! It'd be fun to get together so let me know whenever you're down here again!
I think your parents house could BE in the Parade of Homes. Is it by chance in Entrada? It looks just like my grammies, who lives there.
I found out that my brother-in-law was your dad's escrow officer for the new house! Small world! The house is BEAUTIFUL!!!
