4 month check-up

Hailey's 4 month check-up went great!!!  She is right on track developmentally. Here are her stats...
Height: 26.97 in (100th percentile...no surprise there)
Weight: 15.28 lbs (84th percentile)
Head: 16.9 in (93rd percentile)

She survived her shots...Yay!!! She screamed bloody murder at first but calmed down quickly and has been her happy self ever since

* On a side note I also went to the Doctor this week and got some bad news. I am officially now a Type 1 Diabetic. We knew it was most likely going to be the case but I was hoping it wouldn't be at least for a few years. Oh well. They have started me on insulin shots which are really not that bad. Dave has truly been my rock through all this. I am so grateful to have him to help me through my trials. I couldn't ask for a better support system!  Love you Babe!!!

Natalie,

I am so sorry to hear about the diabetes. I can't imagine how hard this time must have been for you with a new baby and worrying about that. Not that it makes it any easier, but at least you have some awesome sisters who deal with diabetes to rely on. My heart goes out ot you.

Natalie, shoot I am sorry to hear about the diabetes, that is a bummer. But on a positive note, your little Hailey is so dang cute! Seriously, what a doll. She always has the cutest little outfits and bows on. I am excited for Tallie's 4 month appt next week, can you seriously believe are babes are already 4 months? About the sleeping thing, did Dr. Witt say she was old enough to have her cry it out? If she is, I would do it now, cause I think the older they are the harder it is to let them cry it out. Trust me, Lance was 13 months, could stand up in the crib, and it was a nightmare. Good luck, getting them to sleep is tough and some babies are a lot more stubborn than others.

So reading Hailey's stats confirms that Brynn is truely a little runt (meant in a good way, of course). Hailey is an inch and a half longer than Brynn was at 6 months and weighs more than her. WOW! The best part is they are both so perfect just the way they are!!

Wow! Hailey has changed so much in the month and a half since I've seen her. I can't believe how much her face has changed and I'm sad to be missing out on watching her grow up!!! It was fun to talk to you this morning. You are truly amazing and have the best attitude. Diabetics are SWEETER, but this really stinks! If you ever need to talk, you have 2 sisters that can relate and would love to listen. Hang in there! I sure love you!
