Monet to Picasso

For those of you who haven't heard the UMFA is now showing the Monet to Picasso exhibit from the Cleveland Museum of Art. Dave's Mom was nice enough to take us to it a few weeks ago and we all loved it. I have had a love of art ever since I took A.P. Art History in highschool. I even considered majoring in Art History in college until I realized it didn't leave me too many job options, but hey I ended up doing hair school anyways so I guess I could have. Oh well. Anyways, the exhibit features a few different genres including Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Dadaism, Cubism, and Surrealism. I was surprised not only by the size of the collection but by the many famous artists it features such as Van Gogh, Gauguin, Courbet, Renoir, Rodin, Degas, Monet, Manet, Picasso, Dali, Matisse and others. I highly recommend going. It costs $15 ($10 for students) and is well worth it!
