Since we moved into our ward a year and a half ago I had been serving as the first counselor in the Young Women's Presidency. The Presidency was recently reorganized so I was released and given another calling... Young Womens Camp Director! I am so excited yet terrified at the same time. This year we are doing our own ward camp so I am pretty much in charge of every last detail. what are some fun things you all did at camp? I am definitely willing to take suggestions for some fun activites, crafts etc. If any of you have any ideas I would love to hear them!

That is a HUGE calling! I would be freaking out if I were you. I only went to camp once so unfortunately I can't help you out with suggestions. Good luck! Let us know how it goes. I'm sure all of the girls adore you.
Nat, if you still need ideas let me know. I was in the YW in various different callings for almost 4 years in my ward, just released this year. Girls camp is the best, you are going to have SO much fun, and you will be great at this calling! I have some pretty good ideas for your theme and a couple others that aren't related. Anyways, don't want to make the message too long, but let me know if you're still looking for ideas ok!
that is such a perfect calling for you! just be sure to take the beehives snipe hunting. that defined my first year of girls camp :)
Wow that would be the perfect calling for you! You are so creative. I loved having a secret sister at camp...wrote a note or left them a little treat on their sleeping bag...it was really fun to do the revealings at the end. (sounds like big/little sister week at chi o!) haha so much fun. Also we made our own granola bars and ate them on a hike the next day...
