Hailey at 5 year old...
Hailey is full of energy and is very curious about the world around her. She asks me questions constantly. Some of which I have to really think to answer. She is loving her preschool and is doing very well academically. She loves creating whether it's drawing, baking, building things etc. She is very social, quick to make friends and is always nice to include people. She is a lot of fun but can also be a very challenging child. She is constantly testing my patience and likes to push the limits. She is very emotional and strong -willed. I recently read an article about how some of the most strong willed children turn into the most successful adults. My gut says that's how it will be with Hailey. The traits that make her difficult now will (if channelled correctly) make her a very successful adult. Even though she is challenging I couldn't imagine my life without her.

Hailey had a great Birthday this year. She got special attention at school, generous presents from family back home, dinner at her favorite restaurant (Panera), and frozen yogurt at Orange Leaf. It was a great day celebrating our big 5 year old.
