My Dad had a conference here a couple weeks ago so my Mom decided to come out with him. As an added bonus my brother's family decided to drive up from Columbus to spend the weekend with us too. It was a fantastic weekend. I loved every minute of it. We are so excited that they all will be back here in a month for Thanksgiving!
fun times at Wiards Country Fair/Orchard. We actually went two days in a row since the first day was pretty rainy and my brother's family hadn't gotten here yet. It's one of our new favorite Fall spots in Ann Arbor.
Benefit of going on a rainy day is they had the corn box to themselves
Despite her face she really did have a lot of fun. It's pretty tricky to get her to smile for pictures lately.
She sure loved playing with her Nanny!
Great weekend with people I love dearly. Wish I could live it over and over again!
My cousin Rob and his wife Julie were in town visiting. They lived in Ann Arbor for 4 years while he completed his Urology residency. They just moved last June. We are sad that we just missed them. We met them at the famous Zingerman's Deli for lunch before we headed to the football game. Zingerman's definitely lived up to all the hype . Hands down the most delicious sandwich I've ever had!
The game was chilly and we got poured on for about 10 minutes in the 2nd quarter but it was still fun.
We ventured into the nearby town of Chelsea to try out a restaurant many people had recommended to us. It was so good and Chelsea is soooo charming. I love small towns. Don't think I could settle down in one but I sure love them
After lunch in Chelsea we headed to Jenny's Farm in Dexter to explore and to get some fresh pumpkin donuts for dessert (aka worlds best donuts)
She sure loved playing with her Nanny!
Great weekend with people I love dearly. Wish I could live it over and over again!
