Dave is on a very busy rotation at the hospital this month so he hasn't been around much so I have had a lot of time with just my girls. Tonight as I was getting them ready for bed Hailey and I started making silly noises at each other which got us both laughing hysterically. Nora decided to join in the fun and started laughing so hard she kept falling over. I stopped for a moment and looked at those two precious smiling faces and was completely overwhelmed with how much joy they bring into my life. I am seriously the luckiest mom in the world that I have been entrusted with two such amazing spirits. Sure, we have hard days and some sleepless nights (I am writing this at 3 am while I nurse Nora) but the good moments far outnumber the bad. I am so grateful to have them to keep me company while their Daddy is off working so hard. I just hope more than anything that I can be the kind of Mother they deserve.
