Moab with the Miller clan

For Memorial Day we headed down to Moab with my family for a fun filled weekend (minus the Elggrens who are in the process of moving from Pheonix to Denver...missed you guys!) It was a blast! Dave hasn't been since he was a kid and I haven't been down there since the good old days of volleyball 2 a days in college, which let's be honest spending the day in a hot gym is not the funnest thing to do in Moab. It was fun to get reacquainted with the beautiful scenery. We hiked, played with the kids in the pool, explored some breathtaking lookouts, ate yummy food, played games and of course at night we watched the NBA playoffs. Our rooms had flat screens so there was no way we were missing out and we are glad we didn't. That game winning shot by LeBron... seriously amazing! I think the people in the room next to us may have been frightened when we all started screaming. Too bad they ended up losing the series. Anyways....It was such a great weekend getaway. My nieces and nephews entertained us the whole time. Hiking with little ones is truly hilarious, never a dull moment! I am glad Dave was able to sneak away for the weekend even if he did have to study a little down there. One more week babe and your free for the summer! Hooray!
