Being the wife of a medical student has its good and bad points. Yes, my husband is constantly studying and has very limited time for fun but on the other hand since he is so busy it gives me lots of time to hang out with the girls! Our little med widows group has so much fun together! We usually just meet for dinner but a couple weeks ago we did a potluck dinner and American Idol night at Staci's. It was a blast! The kids loved running around together while we ate yummy food and watched the show. Thanks for having us over Stace!
The highlight of the night was meeting Camie's new baby girl Mykita. She was born 5 weeks early so she is so tiny. She is such an adorable little thing.
Last Saturday Julie, Staci and I (the kidless ladies) had a fabulous girls day. First we went to the new Nordstroms at Fashion place to get free mini facials and makeup. It was kind of funny getting my makeup done by someone else. I didn't tell the lady doing it I was a certified makeup artist I just pretended to be naive, it was kinda fun. None of us were thrilled with our makeup but the facial part was nice. After our makeovers we went and had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. After lunch we decided we weren't quite done playing so we decided to meet up that night for a chick flick at the dollars. We saw Australia and I really liked it but c'mon ladies isn't anything with Hugh Jackman worth seeing?!?! Sorry babe...I have told Dave many times that I think he kind of looks like him so it's ok if I like watching him right ? :) Thanks girls for a fun day I am looking forward to many more to come...

I definitely would say that Australia is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The drover is a babe! Jeff loved that movie too! Also, it was so fun to see you at your dad's office! You look so good and happy! Loved seeing you!
