Just as our Newport trip ended our Lake Powell trip began. My parents dropped us off in St. George where we met up with our friends Jamison and Taysia Metcalf and headed straight for Powell. Well not exactly straight there since we did have a 3 hour stop in the St. George Insta-care to get Dave's hand x-rayed. It boggles my mind how an
Insta care can be so slow but that's another topic. The week in Lake Powell was perfect!!!

Dave's Dad has a time share on a houseboat and this year we got a new custom built one. We were all so excited to see it and we were definitely not disappointed. It was so nice! It had granite countertops, 2 stainless steel fridges, 5 bedrooms, a big screen plasma t.v. and two amazing bathrooms with nice showers which were such a luxury compared to lake bathing. We were quite spoiled!

Living the life... wake boarding, surfing, jet skis, golfing (which Dave forgot to bring the camera for), playing games, girls talks, fishing, fireworks, dancing . We could get used to this! Thanks Ted for another amazing Lake Powell get-away!

Dave followed the Doctor's orders for the first few days but then he couldn't take it anymore so decided to wake board anyway. Strictly one-handed of course.

I actually learned how to jump this year but we got no pictures to prove it. Oh well, next time.

Dave and Jami did a lot of fishing. They took the girls once but we were bad luck so we weren't invited again. I didn't complain I get a little A.D.D. fishing.

We stopped at Stromboli's in Page for lunch on the way home and I ordered a calzone not realizing that it would be absolutely huge. The waitress laughed at the look on my face when she brought it out. Dave ended up eating most of it for me. We had to take a picture.

I think we have told you guys a million times, but thanks again for taking us! It was honestly a blast!
It was so fun! I loved Powell! It was so good to see you guys too! I love the Pics. Too bad that is the only time we get to see ya. Maybe we'll have to change that! We should get a mean game night going or something. :)Times up baby
Looks so fun! I'm J-E-A-L-O-U-S of your pimped out houseboat. Wow! We leave for Powell this week and your post made me so excited to go! Look at you waterskiing, Nats. You look great!
All of your trips look like so much fun. One right after the other, so much fun!! I saw breanne and suzi featherstone in one of your pictures. How do you know them? Breanne lined Devin(my husband) and I up on a blind date. She is quite the match maker.
