Home for the Holidays 2014

There really is no place like home for the Holidays...
these two are becoming quite the little travelers

Willowcreek Christmas Dinner with DeMills

yes Nora is cut off but it's the only family pic we got at Willowcreek

Larson Party. Appetizers at Ann's then onto Eric & Lori's for dinner and the program

these two "sang" along with Uncle Adam
Hudson had quite a few opportunities to be Jesus in nativities this year. He did great  :)

Temple Lights
Christmas Eve cousin pajama breakfast and nativity

Christmas Eve with the DeMills. Presents at Ted & Susan's then off to Grandparents for dinner and the program

Christmas morning. They were pretty excited that Santa found them in Utah!

Perfectly fluffy white Christmas. Just what we ordered

Christmas Day at Grandma Ann's

Miller ladies night at the Nutcracker
First time in the jumpy seat

Jackson Family party. Since Michelle and I were born a day apart it's only fitting that we had sons only days apart right?
Hudson & Eli

 Hudson has the best Grandpas!
they love playing with the fridge magnets at Grandma Ann's house
caught this (rare) precious quiet moment one night before bed

 Aquarium with cousins
Went to a brunch playgroup with my college friends. Hudson was fascinated by my friend Tiffany's sweet daughter Caroline.  Only pic I took that day. Boo

Jungle Jims. These two are obsessed with this place. We went twice in one week.

riding the escalator up and down with Grandpa Ted at Nordstrom. One of their favorite past times

these two love playing on my Mom's phone. They rarely ask for mine but when they are around my Mom they are always stealing hers. Silly girls.
We had a relaxing New Year's Eve. Chinese takeout and games at my parents. Since Dave was already back in Michigan Hudson got to be my New Year kiss.

Natural History museum at the U
Poor Hailey ran straight into a glass wall and got quite the shiner.
used my hat to keep her ice bag on her head while we continued on with our day. It got her to cheer up and worked rather effectively

Dinosaur museum. We ended up going her twice too. We tried to do the curiosity museum but it was way to crowded.

She wouldn't stop hugging Michael. She really misses him!
Hudson's first Sushi Tuesday lunch. Oh how I miss Sushi Tuesdays...

Visiting Grammy. The girls loved all her trinkets. She even let them each pick out a nutcracker to keep.
my happy "burrito baby"
The flight home with these three by myself was kind of a nightmare. Hailey came down with the stomach flu a couple days before we were supposed to leave. She hadn't thrown up all night so I thought we'd be safe to fly. About an hour into the flight she started throwing up again. It wasn't pretty. Luckily for me my visiting teacher was sitting right behind me and was able to help hold Hudson while I cleaned up all the throw up (so gross) When we got to Detroit we found out one of our bags was lost. It took over a week for them to get it back to me. Not our best travel day for sure but it was worth it to get to spend the Holidays with family.
