Nora at 3 years old...
There is never a dull moment with Nora around. She seriously keeps me laughing all day. Her little sense of humor is so charming. She has the highest pitched little voice or as we call it the "squeak" which has earned her the nickname "smurf". She talks constantly and makes friends wherever we go. She has recently become quite a bit more opinionated and stubborn. Especially when it comes to what she wants to eat. It's quite the challenge getting her to do something she doesn't want to do. Her little scowl when she is being defiant is quite adorable though - her whining not so adorable :) She likes to go at her own pace and doesn't like to be rushed. A little tricky since her older sister likes to run everywhere. We are working on finding the balance. She is fearless and is constantly amazing (and terrifying) me with the things she will climb up/jump off of etc. I am impressed with her coordination though and will not be surprised one bit if she is an athlete one day. She has quite the imagination and I love listening to the stories she comes up with while she is playing. She knows all of the letters and their sounds and can spell all of the names in our family (which she picked up by herself by listening to her sister do it) She really looks up to Hailey and is her constant companion. They have become such great little friends and I love that they finally play well together - most of the time at least. She loves playing house, dress-ups, coloring, painting and dancing. She is so excited to start preschool this year. She brings so much joy to our family and we couldn't imagine life without her.
Happy Birthday Nora Jane!!!
