Easter weekend was beautiful here in Michigan! We got a surprise Spring snow storm a few days before but the warmth and sun came out just in time for all the Easter festivities. Saturday we went to a huge egg hunt/BBQ at our friends the Duckworth's house. Their yard is incredible and they hid over 2600 eggs! After the hunt we enjoyed delicious food and sat talking with friends while the kids ran around playing. It was seriously a dreamy evening.

Easter Sunday Dave was on call and was unable to come to church with us (bummer) I will say I was impressed with myself though because I got the girls ready and to 9:00 a.m. church on time and was even able to snap a few pics of them in the backyard before we left. I have to record it because as Dave can attest being on time to church isn't a weekly occurrence for us- in my defense we are usually only a few minutes late but I guess late is late.
My friend Seidi's husband was on call that day too so we planned an Easter dinner together for us and the kids. Miraculously both our husbands were able to sneak away at dinner time to come join us, although they missed each other by about 5 minutes. We were just glad we got to see them at all!
The night anded with this poor girl running into the swings with out looking and getting laid flat by Mina as she was swinging. We were all shocked there was no blood or broken bones, she got hit so hard! So other than one sore little head it was a great weekend.
