Today is a day we have been looking forward to for a long time...match day. Dave matched into the Opthalmology program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and we couldn't be more excited!!! We feel like we really hit the jackpot because not only is it a fantastic program it is in a fun, beautiful and family friendly place. We have numerous friends and family who have lived there and they all have loved it. I know we are going to have so much fun! We will be heading there in June 2013. Starting this June Dave will be doing an intern year and we will find out where we will do that in March. He is actually in Michigan as we speak interviewing for their intern year so who knows, maybe we will be there all 4 years (fine by me). I am so proud of Dave for how hard he worked to get to this point. He worked his tail off in Medical school. He was even named to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society (meaning he is in the top 15% of med students ) which is a huge accomplishment. It is so great seeing all his hard work paying off. I could not be more proud of him and I am looking forward to many adventures in this great place...

Congratulations! I can't wait until March to fond out where we're going. Rich interviewed at Royal Oak, MI yesterday. Maybe we'll be in MI with you. :)

Congrats on Michigan! It's always so nice to know where the next step of your life is going to be and exciting not to know where life will take you after that! At least that's how I've felt for the past several years :) excited for your cute family!
