We were so glad we were able to go to Lake Powell this year with the DeMills and Featherstones. We couldn't go last year and our summer just didn't seem the same. Hailey loved every minute of it! Her prayers one night tell some of her favorite things about Powell ...
Me: Hailey let's say prayers
Hailey: (folds her arms) "Grandpa, Fish, Boat. Amen"
We spent the first night in the slip at the Marina. Hailey couldn't wait to swim so her Daddy took her.
she loved the wave runners. The minute she got on she would say "go fast boat"

Hailey did not leave her Grandpa's side all week. She couldn't get enough of him!
Hailey loved playing with Drae (she is 6 months older) They were such cute little buddies.
we headed out for a sunset wake boarding session our last night and I was so proud that I actually remembered my camera but about 3 minutes into Dave's first run Hailey had a blowout all over her Grandpa Ted (so sorry Ted!) so we had to head back in
Cleaning up the aftermath. Hailey was not happy to be dipped in to get cleaned up (yes that is poop on Dave's arm. You should have seen poor Ted...yikes!)

I haven't been to Lake Powell since high school and I am dying to go back! I'm jealous! :)
