Today we sold my car. Dave has been laughing at me all night because I have been very sentimental about letting it go. I am sure he will tease me even more when he sees that I blogged about it....
Last week my cute 90 year old Grandma decided she wanted a red Lexus so she simply just called up the dealership and ordered one. I am sure the salesman that answered that phone call appreciated the commission right? Now that she has her new stylish red Lexus she offered to sell us her old one (Lexus RX 300) for a price we couldn't resist. We have been keeping our eyes out for something a little bigger with 4WD so we feel lucky that this sort of fell into our laps. I put my car up for sale at about 11:00 this morning and 9 hours, multiple phone calls and a few test drives later a nice man named Jesus' gave us cash on the spot and the car was gone. So goodbye "polly passat" thanks for all the great memories (yes I am reading this and I know I am a nerd...what can I say? )
