Newport Beach

Two weeks ago was the traditional Newport Beachhouse week with my Fam. It was heavenly as always! It is seriously one of our favorite vacations. With all of us with cameras I bet we have well over 2,000 pictures. I still haven't seen most of them so their might be more coming but here are some.

Sunday afternoon we all went to see some really cool tide pools...

here I am at 23 weeks. Dave loves taking belly pictures so get used to them for the next few months :) This year all 25 of us decided to go to Disneyland. It was a blast! I couldn't ride a lot of the rides so I helped watch kids and went to get fast passes etc. I actually had a lot of fun doing it too! I could go on some rides of course. I went on Buzz lightyear I think 5-6 times. I got pretty good scores on it by the end of the day!

case and point... here we are on Buzz. Just look at the scores. Yes I am killing Dave hence his funny picture. He claims his gun was broken but I think I am just better. ha ha

One night Dave and I decided to go on a sunset drive. Ashlyn, Ellie and Noah decided they wanted to come with so we headed out to a place Dave had seen on his bike ride that morning. The hill of flowers we are standing by is someones backyard.. pretty sweet! Then we went and watched sunset. Some cute people asked if we wanted a picture of our little "family" we didn't correct them of course but seriously do I look old enough to have an 8 year old? yikes!

We had so much fun chillin on the beach everyday. With 11 kids under the age of 8 we had plenty entertainment. I will hopefully get more beach pictures. We always forgot to take our camera out of the house. I know what you're all thinking? Aren't you smashing your baby? Dave was cute and dug me a good "belly hole" in the sand so I could lay on my stomach. It is something you miss when you're preggers.

I don't think this is the best shot we got. If I find a better one I will post it. It's hard to get all the kids to look the right way but I think it's pretty good considering they were all tired and hungry and not at all in the mood for pictures.


Who has a bigger belly?

C.J. brought his darling girlfriend Brooke with him. Aren't they adorable? We loved having her there.

We were sad to leave but luckily for us we didn't have to go home for long since we left to Powell with the DeMills 2 days later (post to come). I could get used to this summer lifestyle!
